endPoverty: Intersection of Angel Investing, Community Impact, and Faith

I'm a big fan of endPoverty, which is a Christian charitable organization that is focused on investing in entrepreneurs in East Africa, starting with Kenya. The organization invests through their local subsidiary Kua Ventures, selecting entrepreneurs who are making significant social impact in their community. Investing in these leaders includes various financial investment approaches, along with coaching and connecting them with other entrepreneurs through their local community.

Every time I catch up with Peter, their Executive Director, I'm excited to hear about the impact of the entrepreneurs they invest in.  Some are creating jobs by establishing new service companies, such as delivering groceries from open air markets to people's homes.  Some are filling gaps in specific regions, such as establishing cancer treatment clinics.

I enjoy how endPoverty has the angel investing/Shark Tank aspect of assessing and prioritizing investments, along with seeing noble impacts to where they're focused!
