I’m a big fan of listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and struggle to find the time to read the articles and PDF docs I want to prioritize that aren’t available in audio format. I recently found (thanks to a sponsorship on the Daring Fireball blog) a great service called ListenLater.net, where you pay per article/document (e.g., a short article cost me 13 cents and a longform article cost me $1.04), and you email them a document or link, and they convert it to audio and feed it via RSS into your podcast feed.
There are other options in this problem space, like ElevenReader or Speechify, but as someone with lots of browser tabs and articles in my life, it’s nice that this integrates right into my podcast listening queue (I love Pocket Casts to allow me to prioritize a long list of podcast episodes you listen to).
