Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP) is a great organization that teaches leadership, management, and Government Contracting best practices to Veteran-owned small business leaders. They are a great organization helping Veteran entrepeneurs, and I always enjoy supporting their great mission.

I attended a VIP course way back in 2010 (on behalf of the Veteran CEO I was working for at the time), which was an incredibly valuable experience for me, as someone who started my career as a junior engineer at a huge company (Lockheed), and had joined a small, startup trying to grow and scale a business (I had a lot to learn very quickly).

I now teach a class for VIP on growing business value by focusing on a few key growth metrics and maturing their companies to become resilient as they grow into more complex organizations.
