Kathleen and I are excited to ride in our 3rd and 11th MS Bike Rides (respectively) this year. We’ll be riding the 100km (62 mile) route on June 7 out of National Harbor, with some long-time cycling/wine friends. The ride benefits the MS Society and their fight against Multiple Sclerosis and it’s a fun ride (so a great cause and a fun day). If you’re interested in riding the event — check out the registration site — they offer 30, 62, or 100 mile routes, and the 30 mile ride is a very accessible 2 hour ride for people who don’t ride all the time. If not, we’d love your financial support as we’re raising money to support the MS Society:
Here’s a picture from us finishing the 2012 ride at National Harbor (last year we rode the Gettysburg MS Bike Ride, which was a beautiful (but hilly) ride).
